Personal development is a system or process to develop
personal ability by reflecting and developing personal performance and learning
ability in terms of development skills, knowledge for educational and career
growth. This personal development plan is prepared by me to evaluate my
weaknesses and professional deficiencies to complete my MBA degree and assess
different developmental activities to overcome the issue and improve different
skills and capabilities in a systematic manner.Goals and
Objectives of the Plan
In order to complete the MBA degree and achieve the carrier
plans, it is essential to have skills of communication, concentration and
responsiveness. However, I have good communication skills to present my
perception and understand others, there is a little scope of improvement in my different
skills and capabilities and knowledge. So the main objectives of this personal development
plan are as follows:

and weaknesses.

To present different development activities to
overcome personal and professional deficiency in my career development.
Strengths and
Weaknesses
I have good skills regarding organization and time
management. I plan my whole day effectively, which is helpful for me in time
management. Proper planning helped me to complete my urgent and due works on
time. At the same time, I am a responsible person, who fulfills all the
commitments without wasting time and resources. My communication skills are
impressive and I have a charismatic personality to create an emotional bonding
with my family members and friends.
On the other hand, my decision making and problem solving
skills are comparatively low. I am able to identify different solutions to
solve a particular problem. But, on the other hand, I have a lack of skills,
through which I can select a suitable solution for solving a problem. I have
also lacked of abilities to make suitable decisions. Along with this I feel
difficulty while building rapport and positive relationship with others, using
influencing and persuasive skills to improve performance and overcome problems.
Developmental
Activities
In order to improve my decision making and planning skills, I
will join a training or development course for three months, which will assist
me to develop my decision making abilities by evaluating different situation,
analyzing risk and benefits associated with each alternative solution. Further,
a personality development program will also be beneficial for me to balance my
emotional and social skills. These programs will also help me to increase my
concentration for the completion of tasks and follow creative thinking and
innovation.
Conclusion
Thus, on the basis of the above discussion, it can be said
that I have several strengths such as an effective communication and time
management. I follow the innovation and think creatively. As well as I am not
good in decision making and planning. So it is important for me to improve these
areas through training and development programs.
