While listening to the Los Angels Chamber Orchestra perform Mozart work, felt an emotional connect to the slow movements in the beginning but enjoyed the various progression of movements along the performance. Lastly, Henry Michaels lectured on the classical music composer Felix Mendelssohn who was born in Northern Germany. In juxtaposition to Haydn and Mozart, Mendelssohn was born into an upper-middle class family. Coming from a rich and musically talented family, Mendelssohn started his music career very early and was very well educated and was also considered a child prodigy as well.
