SECTION A (50%)
Human resource development is about helping employees fulfill themselves at work. It involves encouraging employees to identify ways in which they want to improve their careers and other aspects of their work life. They may wish to attend training courses, do more interesting work, or simply have a better work/life balance.
You have just been appointed as a HRD specialist in a large organization and the management has decided to rehiring retired employees.
Your task is to devise an HRD plan for the next 12 months. In your answer consider whether this category of employees requires different HRD programs and how best you might go about meeting their diverse needs.

SECTION B (50%)
Interview a relative or friend who is currently employed. The interview should:
� Identify his/her current career development stage
� Identify a special career management challenge he/she faces

Assignment Length
