Why do you think this lesson would or would not work in the alternate setting? 50 words or more.Week 4 Discussion 2- Bullying  When it comes to bullying we can see that it is a big issue among kids these days. Looking at the video I thought it was kind of sad how these kids were getting treated. As I was watching the first one about Diego, I can see that this one kind of got me. In the video I seen where when one of the kids hit the ball they always got made fun of and laughed at. But when I looked over I seen a teacher standing there not saying one word about them doing that. Then when Diego go there and joined in to play with the kids he seen what was going on and stepped in real quick and I like that about him. He told the kids to stop laughing and that if they maybe showed him how to play he might learn. Also I think even before Diego came in the teacher should have spoken up and told the kids to stop laughing every time someone hit and didn’t make it over the net and that the game was just for fun. I believe that if a teacher sees a situation like this she needs to bring it to someone’s attention or take matters into her own hands. But also when bullying comes up the school needs to send a note home with every student to let the parents know they need to be addressing this situation at home. When parents don’t get involved in their child’s school life and never ask what’s going on or if the teachers don’t get involved, then more kids are either quitting school or killing themselves.
