My perceptual experience of our universe is that racism exists everyplace, even in the land of autonomy, America. I am cognizant of the fact that there is racism against non merely inkinesss, but besides whites, Asians, along with people from all other ethnicities. I believe racism is distressing in any signifier. Therefore I do my best non to be racist in any manner.

One of my earliest remembered experiences that have affected me with this was a black person was in Kindergarten. During recess one twenty-four hours I was playing with friends and so I was called in for forcing a black miss into some clay, which I had non done. After a twosome of my friends accounted for me during that recess period, the immature miss eventually confessed that it was her ain mistake for acquiring muddy. My following major influence was my first class instructor. Whenever I would be over at my friend & # 8217 ; s house and we would listen to any type of hip-hop or blame music, she would ever name us the & # 8216 ; N & # 8217 ; word. She would besides impeach us of moving black and so-on merely for listening to a certain type of music, have oning a certain manner of apparels or whatever, she would ever acquire her racialist comments heard. The amusing thing about this is she & # 8217 ; s a dissembler. She used to listen to the same type of music with her friends, and she used to have on the same trade name and manner of apparels that we wear now, so I do non understand how she can state anything to us. My relationship with her has made me desire to handle everyone even fairer. Bing a victim of & # 8216 ; racism & # 8217 ; has helped me a batch. This experience has shown me how an person can pervert a democracy. A racist person with power is a really unsafe state of affairs.

My 4th major influence non to be racialist is one of my best friends B. I & # 8217 ; ve cognize her since my first-year twelvemonth at DGN. She is a really intelligent, nice, fun-loving black miss. My friendly relationship with her over the last twosome old ages has truly opened up my head to black civilization and to accept their differences, no affair how big or little.
