The Quality and Safety Education in Nursing (QSEN) is a project that aims to integrate quality and safety competencies into nursing education in order to improve the care provided by nurses. The project focuses on six competency areas: patient-centered care, teamwork and collaboration, evidence-based practice, quality improvement, safety, and informatics. The goal of QSEN is to prepare nurses to provide high-quality, safe care to patients in various healthcare settings.<\/p>\n

\nThe purpose of the Quality and Safety Education in Nursing (QSEN) is to prepare nurses with the competencies necessary to continuously improve the quality and safety of the health care systems in which they work.
\nThe Quality and Safety Education for Nurses Education Consortium (QSENEC) is a national initiative of the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) to enhance quality and safety content throughout nursing courses in entry-level nursing programs. I also think it is important to consider patient testimonials and staff qualifications and training in order to get a well-rounded view of the facility’s quality of care.
