\nOther band, orchestra, jazz or choir concerts at NCCU.
\nChoir concerts (ex, other college choir concerts)
\nOpera performances
\nBand Performances (ex: High School Concert Band)
\nOrchestra performances (ex. North Carolina Symphony, etc.)
\nJazz concert \u2013 Symphony Center, NCCU, Jazz Concert, (hearing your buddies play at a local restaurant does not count)
\nMusicals do count
\nThe band, orchestra and choir performances of other high schools in the area<\/p>\n
Examples of events that do not count:
\nCollage and other talent shows
\nDance recitals (ex. Fashion Show)
\nAnything that you are already performing in even if only for a small part
\nPerformances that are part of another function, (i.e. a performance during a church service)<\/p>\n

\n2.\tWrite an evaluative essay that includes the following information:

\nb.\tWho\/what did you see?
\nc.\tWhat kind of music was performed?
\nd.\tDid the venue enhance or detract from the performance? Why?
\ne.\tDiscuss the stage presence of the performers.
\nf.\tDiscuss the musicality of the performance. (Be specific)
\ng.\tWhat is your overall impression of the performance?
\nh.\tWhat did you like or dislike about the music?
\ni.\tWould you go again?
\nThe majority of your paper should focus on the musicality of the performance\u2014be specific about the pieces, style, phrasing, intonation, etc.
