An explanation of how you have addressed evaluation or how you might address evaluation in your field education experience<\/p>\n
Evaluation is an important part of doing social work. It’s the fourth step in the planned change process. During this step, the results of the intervention are compared to the goals and objectives, and the professional relationship comes to an end (Garthwait, C. L. (2017). Even though my field agency refers clients to services for their well-being, I might handle evaluation in my field agency by keeping track of the progress, feedback, taking notes, using active listening skills, and watching the clients to see what works well and what could be improved with the services provided. This could also go back to the intervention stage. I could check back to see if the goals of the intervention were met and if clients were happy with the service.<\/p>\n
Evaluation helps in both our personal and professional growth (Garthwait, C. L. (2017). By receiving information from someone who is more experienced than us, we can find new ways to develop our social work skills in order to ensure that we are competent for the clients we serve.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
