The goal of this assignment is to make sure that you understand some of the basic concepts of business analytics (chapter 1). You need to read the CGMA report (attached in the course folder) and select only one case for this assignment. You will find many cases (starting from page 8) such as FMCG sector, Technology sector, Telecoms sector, etc.). Pick only one of them. After reading the case, summarize your thought into two as followings:

1. The changes in the nature of data…. outline (200 words)
When you read the case, pay attention to how the nature of data evolves over time. (e.g., changes in terms of the importance of the data, in terms of the quantity of data, in terms of the variety/dimensions of the data, …, etc.).
2. A summary of your analysis of the case, organized into 4 dimensions… table format (200 words)
1) Business problem faced. The problem that that leads the business case to apply business analytic
2) Data. The business data that is used
3) Techniques. The business analytic techniques that are applied on the data,
4) Business value. The business value that is generated from applying the business analytic.
